Should You Buy a Zune Hd Or an Apple iPod Touch 32 Gb?

Should You Buy a Zune Hd Or an Apple iPod Touch 32 Gb?

Hd Media Player

For those of you who are avid Apple iPod fans, you're probably dying to try the newly released Apple iPod Touch in 32 Gb or 64 Gb.  But for those of us who aren't big fans of the Apple, there's now a brand new beloved competitor to the iTouch; it's called the Microsoft Zune Hd 32 Gb.  Now, I'm not necessarily a big fan of Microsoft, either, but this new Zune Hd is literally a media player to consider.  With its sleek interface, huge memory capacity, and Pc-compatible software, it's not hard to see why I'd rather buy a Zune than an Apple iPod Touch.

But how do you know if you should buy a Zune?  Here's some features you might think when production your decision.

1. Touch screen beauty: When comparing the Zune Hd with the Apple iPod Touch, I literally think the Zune does a better job with graphics.  Its Hd quality just adds to the charm of the already lovely screen display that's brighter than the iTouch and easier to read.

2. The software: Apple insists you use iTunes software with every particular update and sync you do with your iPod Touch.  I don't understand why it won't just treat the iTouch like a drive, but it doesn't.  This is where Microsoft gets it right.  For the Zune Hd, they created a software that is Pc-compatible (unlike iTunes) so your Pc doesn't turn into a slug and you can literally work with your Zune.  What a concept!

3. Zune Hd Quickplay navigation: I'm a Windows person.  As much as I despise Microsoft itself, I like to subdivide my stuff into shortcuts and folders.  With an iTouch, I can't literally do that.  But with the Zune Hd's Quickplay technology, you can navigate to folders using shortcuts to your recently played items or most used tracks.

This beats out the iPod Touch in many ways, because with iPod, you only get so many application icons to choose from and that's it.  But with the Zune, you're allowed to add shortcuts to your icons and navigate through without so much scrolling.
